85% of Italians don’t like the European Union, a poll conducted by the think thank of the University of Milan finds. This compares with 40% of Italians who liked the European Union five years ago, a tendency more than negative. The poll is based on the analysis of more than 200,000 messages posted on Twitter. Three main reasons explain this dissatisfaction: austerity, failure to respond to the migration crisis and a deficit of democracy.
