Brussels foresees no inflation for France this year

French 2015’s budget, approved at the end of December, was based on a forecast of a 0,9% inflation. It has already been declared obsolete. Last week Christian Eckert, Secretary of State for the budget, actually said inflation will be more probably around 0%, as confirmed by the calculations  of the European Commission. The real problem is in the absence of growth in life cost. The French government will have to find new ways to reach the €21 billion promised for this year. (Le Figaro)
