Canada PM Justin Trudeau’s disapproval rating jumps over 50%

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau‘s disapproval rating among Canadians has jumped above the 50 per cent mark for the first time since the 2015 election, according to a new poll.

Justin Trudeau has recently defended his government’s decision to sign off on the sale of more than 900 armoured vehicles – including dozens described as “heavy assault” and equipped with cannons – to Saudi Arabia, arguing that the deal is in line with Canada’s foreign and defence policies.
