Dutch Parliament voted to punish schools that refuse to teach LGBT awareness

Dutch parliament voted a motion motion which would allow schools to be punished if they refuse to teach LGBT awareness, according to Dutch Public Broadcasting NOS.

The rapporteur Jasper van Dijk, MP from Socialist Party (SP) wants schools to be fined or face administrative action if they consistently refuse to teach their students about sexual diversity. The MP thinks these information will contribute to the fight against discrimination.
