Registered incidents of racist attacks in Austria rose by 54 per cent to 1,156, compared to 750 in 2014, according to latest figures published by the the interior ministry on Friday. Interior ministry blames migrant crisis for ‘polarisation of Austrian society’. Influx of migrants has prompted popularity of far-right Freedom Party.
