From New York to Madrid, now it’s Brussels time for the painter Guillermo Muñoz Vera thanks to the idea of Felix De Merode, director of the Lycée Molière and his friendship with the Chilean painter met in 2012.
Entitled “Sapere Aude”, the exhibition focuses on a work led by the artist for more than 7 years, between Chile and Spain, which explores and revisits, with an exceptional intensity, the traditional genres of Western painting. The artist recreates the world through marines, landscapes and still lives with an execution that shows a savoir-faire miraculously drawn from the art of the great masters of the past.
From Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th February 2016 10h-18h
Lycée Molière, 21, avenue Franklin Roosevelt 1050 Bruxelles
The event is supported by the Chilean Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union Carlos Enrique Appelgren Balbontin, S.A.S. le Prince d’Arenberg and the Secretary General of the European Schools Kari Kivinen.
