Former EU Commissioner for climate change becomes Volkswagen advisor

After the case of Barroso at Goldman Sachs and Neelie Kroes, ex EU Commissioner for competition and digital agenda named in the Bahamas papers, another member of the last European Commission joins a discussed company as former EU Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard joins Volkswagen which is trying to restore its image damaged by the last diesel-gate.

Connie Hedegaard has been appointed member of the Sustainability Council of Volkswagen along with other professor and former public officer as Yves Leterme, former OECD Deputy Secretary-General and former Prime Minister of Belgium, Margo T. Oge, former Director of Transportation Air Quality, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Georg Kell – Founding Director UN Global Compact and others.
