Frontex: 500,000 – 1 million migrants ready to set off from Libya this year

2015 could be one of the most dramatic year for immigration from North Africa. Fabrice Leggeri, the executive director of the EU’s Frontex border agency, told to ANSA that 2015 will be worse than the last year expecting up to 1 million migrants from Libya. (ANSA)

The European Union unveiled a New Agenda on Migration last Wednesday, already criticized by Amnesty International and other humanitarian NGOs.
