Greek government unveils reform plan

The Greek government unveils the reform plan in order to secure a bailout extension.

The list of reforms must be approved by Greece’s creditors to seal last Friday’s agreement foreseeing a four-month extension of the country’s loan agreement. (Ekathimerini)

  • Creating a fairer tax system
  • Combating tax evasion
  • Tackling corruption
  • Targeting fuel and tobacco smugglers
  • Implementing labour reforms on collective contracts and bargaining agreements.
  • Tackling Greece’s “humanitarian crisis” with housing guarantees and free medical care for the uninsured unemployed.
