Italian anger over Franco-German axis

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was really disappointed when he knew that French President Hollande and German Chancellor Merkel were going to meet again with Greek PM Tsipras without involving Italy despite the fact Italy is the third largest creditor to Greece.

According to Huffington Post, Renzi refused the invite made by Tsipras to join the ‘private’ meeting because the official invitation arrived ‘too late‘. Also during the Socialist summit he said to French President Hollande that France and Germany are important Member States but it is not correct they decide on important European issues and all the other Member States are just staying aside.
