Italian school forbids Christmas songs because “dangerous provocation” after Paris attacks

In Rozzano, a city close to Milan, the dean of the school decided to forbid traditional Christmas songs such as “Tu scendi dalle stelle“, “Adeste Fidelis” and “Stille Nacht” because they can be considered a “dangerous provocation” after the Paris attacks. The dean said to Corriere della Sera that he should respect all the religions.

Another Italian newspaper Il Giorno reports he decided to change the name of the celebrations: from Christmas to “Winter celebrations“.
