Italy: Bishop’s visit in a school in Turin forbidden by teachers

Teachers of the middle-school «Brofferio» in the small town of Cafasse, in the province of Turin, have forbidden a visit of the archbishop of Turin Cesare Nosiglia to meet the students during his pastoral visit in the town, Il Giornale reports.

The parents immediately protested and asked for a meeting between the students and the children outside school hours but the archbishop refused. “It’s one of the darkest moment in the history of our community. I hope the school will send the bishop a letter asking sorry,” the religious teacher of the school said.
