Macron’s daughter-in-law and Hollande’s former chief of communication are candidates for Macron’s party

Tiphaine Auzière, the youngest daughter of Brigitte Macron, the new French Premiere Dame, is a substitute candidate for the legislative election which will take place on the 11th-18th June. She is candidate for the 4th constituency of the Pas-de-Calais.

Even though some critics of ‘nepotism‘ arose, Quentin Herdier, the local communication manager of En Marche! said they are delighted to have Auzière on board, Le Parisien reports.

Another candidacy that raised some criticism among French voters is the one of Gaspard Gantzer (2nd constituency of Ille-et-Vilaine), former chief of communication of François Hollande, famed  for his record low of approval and disapproved by nearly 90% of French people.
