No European troops in Libya, Hollande says

During last European Council meeting, Libya was one of the topic discussed by the EU leaders. Although the European Council president Donald Tusk and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Mogherini declared full solidarity to Libya government in “planning all possible ways of supporting, even on the plan of security, a future national unity government”, many of the EU leaders ruled out the possibility to send troops in Libya.

“There is no question of a military intervention,” French President Francois Hollande told reporters. “Politics must play its role, that’s what been missing in recent years.”
