The Polish PM Beata Szydlo said that ‘if French authorities and local community agree, Poland government will suggest moving the statue of Pope John Paul II from France to Poland’.
The reference is to the decision of the French Council of State to remove the Christian cross from John Paul II statue in the French town of Ploërmel, Morbihan.
“The dictate of political correctness – of state secularisation – gives a place for values that are strange to our culture and lead to the terrorisation of everyday life of Europeans“, she said.
