Qatar opens a mosque in Sweden, the largest one in Scandinavia

The Qatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs opened the Umm Al-Mu’minin Khadijah Mosque in Malmo, Sweden. The mosque, built by the State of Qatar at a cost of more than 3 million euros, is the largest one in the Scandinavian region, Qatar News Agency report.

The mosque, which is affiliated to the Wakf of Scandinavia in Sweden, is built on an area of 1791 square meters and can accommodate 2,000 worshipers.
