A maths teacher in UK has been suspended and will appear at a disciplinary hearing to answer allegations that he referred to a pupil born female as a ‘girl’ Premier Radio reports.
Joshua Sutcliffe, 27, who teaches maths at a state secondary school in Oxfordshire, said ‘Well done girls’ to the teenager and a friend when he spotted them working hard. He apologised when corrected by the pupil, but six weeks later he was suspended from teaching after the pupil’s mother lodged a complaint, according to an article published by The Mail on Sunday.
“Questioning gender fluidity is the new blasphemy,” Brendan O’Neill writes for The Spectator. “The capitulation of the establishment to the politics of transgenderism has been astonishing. I’m struggling to remember any other time when a new and contested ideology has been so uncritically embraced by the powers-that-be,” O’Neill continued also referring to the case of the teacher in UK.
